Some photos for the final book (?)
First of all, an update to my list of emotions:
Fear
Lust
Desire
Anxiety
Regret
I'm still working on Fear, Anxiety and Regret (should be getting them done over the weekend), but here are two photos that I intend to use for the book. These are not accurate representations of lighting since the upload appears to have artificially compressed and brightened the image.
Lust:
Intended interactivity: the distorted flash of passing cars briefly interrupts the view of the subject.
Desire: (these are a couple of different angles and approaches I took. I'll highlight my favourite one at the end, but here are some preliminaries)

And the image I intend to actually use, which was the second photo of another angle I took:
Intended interactivity: the light of the laptop pulsing.

After getting a better understanding on the words i was undertaking, i went on to get examples of what these emotions would look like in my own example.
the following is what i interpret fear to be which is less about the visual likeness of fear but more about the unknown and what we can't see
the next emotion I researched for its visuals was for depression. with these ones i tried to stay away from looks of depression on someones face and i would rather try depict this emotion with a place or inanimate objects
the next word i researched was for anxiety. again i was trying to stay away from people's reaction and try depict it with inanimate objects or a place. i myself think of long journeys or a bridge when i think of it so i tried finding that. i also had the image of cracked glass which to me symbolizes someones mental state and to me conveys anxiety.
